- We adopted from Ethiopia the last week of August 2007. Amanda and I are a family that is looking to glorify Jesus Christ in whatever we do. He saved us from sin, and brought us to eternal life through Him. (John 3:3) And Jesus answered, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. We must see that our sin separates us from God, and only by the blood of Jesus covering our sins, and turning away from them (repenting) can we be saved. The Bible teaches that not by works are we saved (Ephesians 2:8-9), lest any man should boast in himself. God wants all the glory, so we can only boast in our great king and redeemer.
